How does the referral discount work?

Give a new customer your Customer ID and ask them to include it in their enquiry. Once they reply “I agree”, their service starts and their first invoice is paid, your next full monthly subscription charge receives a 50% discount. We verify the referral and confirm the discount in writing. Your regular contract price stays the same.

Can I join part-way through a month?

Yes. Your confirmed start date will be a Sunday. The first-month charge is the monthly price applicable to you (including any promotion) divided by the number of calendar days in that month, multiplied by the calendar days remaining, including your confirmed Sunday start date. We show this amount separately. From the following month, your regular price applies unless a current promotion remains in effect.

What exactly does the monthly plan include?

One put-out and one return per collection week for the agreed bins due that week. A four-week month has 8 visits; a five-week month has 10, with no additional monthly charge. One visit can cover up to three agreed household bins.

How much will I pay?

The same household subscription price applies to all homes we service. Our current promotional price is $29.99/month through 31 December 2026; the regular price is $39.99/month. We send your remaining first-month amount separately, together with your regular contract price and any current promotion, before you agree.

When do I pay?

Ongoing monthly invoices are issued on the 1st and are due by the 14th. A first invoice for a part-month start is due within 7 calendar days of its invoice date. Pay by bank transfer or your own automatic payment using your Customer ID. We confirm your first-month amount separately.

What if my payment is overdue?

We contact you and give at least seven days to resolve overdue payment before pausing future visits. We do not charge late fees. Any later price change, beyond the stated launch expiry, requires at least 30 days' written notice.

Do you move all three bins every week?

We move only the agreed bins scheduled for collection that week. Bin types and collection frequency depend on your address and collection provider. We confirm your bins and collection calendar before starting.

Do I need to be home or leave my front door unlocked?

No. Your house can remain locked. We only need safe access along the agreed outdoor route to the bins. Have the correct bins ready by 7:30 pm the evening before collection. Keep any access gate usable, pets secured and the path clear; tell us promptly if instructions change.

What happens if my gate is locked or access is blocked?

If we attend but a customer-side issue prevents safe access, we notify you and document it. The attended visit is attempted and chargeable at the normal per-visit amount; no extra penalty applies. This also applies to missing bins, wrong bin locations or bins not ready by 7:30 pm. Any repeat visit and charge must be agreed first. If we simply do not attend, there is no attempted-visit charge. See the service terms for the attempted-visit policy.

What if the truck does not empty my bins?

We provide bin put-out and return, while your council contractor empties the bins. If we correctly present the scheduled bins on time and complete the return visit, those visits remain chargeable when refusal or missed collection is outside our control. This can include customer-caused contamination, excess weight, stuck contents or a contractor failure. We notify you and agree safe arrangements for a full bin. This does not excuse our own errors.

What if BinPorter misses a visit or makes a mistake?

We contact you and try to put it right promptly. If we cannot, you can choose a credit or refund for the affected visit, without limiting other legal remedies. This includes late or incorrect presentation, putting out the wrong bin or returning it before the contractor has had a reasonable collection opportunity.

Can I cancel or pause while away?

There is no fixed-term commitment. Either party may cancel with seven days' written notice by text or email. Normal service and charges continue during the seven-day notice period. We confirm the end date and adjust or refund prepaid service after that date as appropriate. Stop your automatic payment once the final amount due has been paid. A temporary holiday pause and any price adjustment must be agreed in writing. Mandatory cancellation rights still apply.

Are heavy, overflowing or damaged bins included?

Customers remain responsible for correct contents, closed lids and council weight limits. We do not move overloaded, leaking, hazardous or damaged bins that cannot be handled safely. Bin washing, emptying, sorting, moving loose bags and transporting waste are excluded unless separately agreed.

Which areas do you cover, and are you part of the council?

See the current availability note at the top of this page. Send your address so we can confirm whether we can service it. BinPorter is independent and is not affiliated with any council. Your existing collection provider and collection rules stay the same.

How do I book, and who will visit?

Send your address, bin types, collection day if known, access details and any referring customer’s ID. Keyur runs BinPorter and confirms availability, your subscription details, visit windows and Sunday start date. Review the Terms & Conditions during the website enquiry and acknowledge that you have read them. We then send your personalised service details. Reply “I agree” to accept those details and the terms version recorded with your enquiry; we then confirm your start date. An enquiry alone does not start a subscription. Any helper is notified to you in advance. Do not send gate codes in a public comment.
